Congrats OP!!!...sounds like you are going to enjoy your new toy.

just wanted to post a pick of my new guitars. These are definitely in a different league than yours....

I ordered the one of the left about two weeks ago...according to the website, I had 45 days to return it I wasn't satisfied. After getting it, I just wanted to see other other one 'felt' (it was about $150 more), so I ordered it. After I received it, the first one sounded better to me (different humbucker pickups on each model), but the new one felt better. I decided to keep the new one...So I called to setup the return and I found out that the free shipping would be charged back if I returned it (which was $45) plus it would have probably cost me another $35-$40 to ship it back. Based on that, I decided to keep both for now...anyway, I have a couple of friends that might be interested in buying it.

sorry for the long story...

Hey, that's pretty badass. What kind of Bridge and Humbuckers do you have?

The bridge is the ABR-1 as designed by Ted McCarty.

Pickups are Dragon II's. My previous PRS has HFS's in them but these are more milky/creamy and have lots of vintage vibe to them.

That's awesome! How much?

I did some gear trades for it, but it was pretty f' expensive... it's got what PRS calls a "10-top" which is their finest finish aside from the artist package and that drives the price up a bit as well.

I didn't even get to jam with you on the old PRS. Now you've got the new one and I will be horribly put to shame.

You cannot compete with the buzz I get after tuning down half a step however  I  blue guitars

beautiful guitar. i've never cared for PRS's myself... their tone has no soul. but no getting around that amazing finish and inlay work.

Interesting.. what guitar's tone has soul for you? PRS has always been the only one for me
