My new (to me), boring, utilitarian beater

Just got it yesterday, drove it home today

Outside
Inside

It's nothing exciting at all; But hopefully it'll succeed in getting me from point A to point B for a few years. As a reminder, here's what this car will be pinch-hitting for:

Nice choice. How many miles? Does the tranny feel good? A lot of CSVT owners have issues when it gets colder with sticky trannys.

And you didn't get the funky midnight blue interior...

69k or so

Feels fine I guess. Stickier than the Hondas I've driven and a little lower than would be absolutely comfortable

And you didn't get the funky midnight blue interior...

I think I might have actually. It looks black most of the time but has a purple tint in some light.

I think B&M makes a shortshifter for it. A worthwhile investment if you're going to drive in a more "spirited" fashion.

If I could have found a green one a year ago, I'd have gotten one.

I'd hardly consider a Contour SVT a *beater*.

It's a fun, and deceptively well handling car. It won't win any stop light show offs of testosterone, but it certainly is an entainting car to drive. Comfortable too.
