Apologies for the poor quality of the pics...better ones later but here she is.

Bone stock M3 in Alpine White on Imola Red. The car needs a bit of interior and exterior detailing and I'll be taking it to the detailing shop over the weekend. The mileage on this is higher than what I was looking for...oh well.

Do you know if you need to replace the consumables (oil, filter, air filter, etc) more because of the environment you drive in?

I believe so. I'm sending it to the shop to get some work done (it's hitting the 100,000 km mark soon) and will confirm that again in terms of what needs to be done and how frequently. With the heat and sand here, a lot of the cars start looking older quicker (faded paint, worn out interiors, etc), so taking care of the exterior and interior is key.

Anyway, thanks for the compliments, day time shots will be posted over the weekend but they will be pre-detailing as I plan on doing that next week.

Can't do it. It's the law here in Dubai.
It's also "de law" in California, that never stopped me ;).

Congrats man!

Oh, and BTW, if you can take pics with some epic man made backgrounds they have over there. Do they let anyone drive up to the Palm Island?

The Palm Jumeirah (there are three palm islands: the Jumeirah one is the only one open and the other two, Palm Deira and Palm Jebel Ali, are still under "construction") is the one that has the Atlantis resort on the crescent. There are other hotels and residential apts and houses on the fronds of the palm. The trunk of the palm is essentially the main road to get in and out of the palm.

Can't really take pictures of the palm, since you're standing on reclaimed land...not much to see other than the Atlantis.

Updated with more pics!

Yea I know I know...didn't take out the sheet of paper the detailers left on the floor in the last pic.

Thanks!

How do you feel about the red leather long-term? I have it in mine and it looks great right now, but I'm wondering what it'll look like after 100k miles..

The interior pic (whatever you can see of the interior in the one pic) is the condition of the leather at around 68K miles. I don't think I will grow out of it...always wanted Imola Red.
