My new System

All right, I am getting a new Motherboard/RAM/CPU combo, and this is what I have in mind

1. ASUS A7N8X-E Deluxe
2. 1GIG DDR 3200 (400MHz)
3. AMD XP 3200

What do you guys think? I am building it for a gamingin machine, how do you think it will handle?

Shouldn't have gotten a 3200. A mobile 2500 barton woulda oc'ed past that. Or use a bit more money for a 64.

I was thinking about the 64. My only real complaint is the money and lack of support for it. I know that it still runs faster then the 3200. I havent bought any of this yet, im still deciding on what to go for. Maybe ill get the 64 next year when I see more support for it.

I, most likely, won't upgrade again until I go Athlon 64. Currently running a 2800+ non-barton.
