My new system is gearing up....

All I need to get is the cpu but I am about 99.9% sure it will be the E8400....

MSI Neo2-FR P35 mobo (reviews show it hitting well above 450mhz fsb)
2gb of OCZ Platinum
600watt OCZ StealthXstream

After a few rebates the grand total for me will be 126 dollars for these items


Already have

DVD-rom & External HDD (using E-sata for time being), Case, fans, etc


Cooling...

Going to be using my Coolit Freezone modified with a 120mm fan.


Plan is for 9x445 = 4 ghz fun...

Then I am going to give it to my son and wife and bury their A64 3000+ @ 2.4ghz

Actually it is just something to play around with...My quad handles most of my stuff well like encoding.....unfortunately some of my apps dont show much improvement after 2 cores anyway....so a 4ghz dual core wil be faster
