Very nice. I've been happy with my XR55 since I got it 1.5 years ago.

Noticed a lot of talk at AVS about the eD subs. How do you like it?

:D LOL sub pic!

Man I want those. Does a sub add alot to the X-LS's? I wanna buy a pair when I get some money and a cheap Onkyo receiver.

Yeah, that was a scale. I measured it at 67lbs, but its a crappy scale. On their website, they list it as 68lbs, which is accurate.

And yes, the sub adds a whole lot to the X-LS's.. especially in movies. The combo is downright scary as hell in my small room.

So far, all of my impressions on the sub are good. I have the crossover at 80hz, gain at about 75%. Tone +2db Bass, Subwoofer set to 5/20 for music, usually 10/20 for movies.

with that system you should not need an eq it will just color the sound more. other than that i'm sure it sounds awesome, that sub is huge!

The EQ is only for the CD player, which isn't working anyways.

I'm using the digital out from my PC to the XR55.

Not true. The room, if nothing else, will vastly distort the speaker's anechoic frequency response. Proper EQing using an SPL meter will make a vast difference in just about any system.
