My new Sony lens...

This lens was announce early this year with an August 2 release date. Pre-orders started around June. I did my pre-order on July 6 on Amazon...August rolls around and they had no idea when it would ship. So I cancel my pre-order with them and do on Best Buy on August 6 so I could get some Best Buy points...They had an received date date of Sept 12. On Sept 10, I get an email about the a shipping delay and no ETA. To my surprise, I got an email on Sept 13 saying it shipped and UPS dropped it off today.

This lens is a beast...here is pic of her mounted my Sony A6300 next to my A68 with a Tamron 150-600...I won't be able to really play with her until this weekend though...

The lens is still on backorder/pre-order or just not available on Amazon, Best Buy, Adorama, B & H and other major camera retail sites...
