My new SK41G :)

Hello,

I just wanted to share with everyone that I received my $ 211 (171 after MIR) Shuttle SK41G two days ago.

So far I love the little guy. Slapped an XP 1800+, 2 512MB Sticks of PC2100 Crucial, and Gefroce 4 ti 4200 (Newwegg 88 dollar special) in it. I do not have the drive yet but should get here today or tommorrow. I think it will make a pretty nice lan box. NOt too heavy and not too big 🙂

One thing that I have found is this. It's a custom Front bezel, made out of aluminum for a Lite on CD-ROM/CD-RW, by gt2i of Sudhian Forums. I ordered one from him for $32 and it shold gete here within Two weeks. I can't wait to get it casue it will make the SK41G I received Complete 🙂

Just wanted to let everyone know I got and I will run some tests this weekend to see how she performs.

That front cover is hot. Do you know if there are any for the Shuttles with the center buttons?

He is the one that hooked me up.

People will probabyl say it's too plain but I';d rather have a plain one and not ahve to worry about trying to match the Color of my CD-Rom Drive. 🙂 All I have to worry about is the button 🙂

I'm thinking it's a bit too plain, myself, but I also think the original is not so hot. But, add a graphic of some type to break it up... Sweet! How 'bout a couple of black lines where the green ones were on the original?

well the onboard video sucks so that';s the biggest benefit.

I don't have a Shuttle, but a Gbox and Iwill XP4 but that looks really cool. I am a regular at Sudhian but don't read the Shuttle forum that much.

I was thinking of getting an SK41 and this may be the deciding factor.
