Hey guys, I';ve been looking around and talking to my friends and I beleive i've come up with a pretty kick ass gaming machine. However, before I go ahead and dish out the cash, if you guys could offer any final suggestions to the system that would be great!

Here is a link to the part list: Click Here

IMHO a current "gaming" machine does not consist of a granite bay mobo, dual xeon 2.4's, and a 9600XT.

Since you seem to prefer Intel, you should go with an i875 mobo (Abit IC7G), P4 3.2, 256MB 9800 Pro. You'll also need a hard drive (not on your list) so pick up a 74GB Raptor and it comes out to roughly the same cost as your current configuration.

OMG sry dude but that is sad....

go with a athlon3200 64 or 3400 64, and a 9800pro, or wait till the new ati cards coome out... WTF is up with XEON, thats only really for server use, and lacks in gaming... Your friends need a little edumaction when it comes to configuring a system rig if they helped you set that up. Not meaning to be tude, but it sucks. You only got maybe 3 things right if that: Case, RAM, Powersupply.

It's not a gaming setup. If you want a something for playing games yuo should buy an athlon64 (or p4 if like).
