1. that "fast" ram is just as fast as regular $70 mushkin 3200 basic. its a waste of money unless you plan on serious overclocking.

2. you are paying way more than you have to for that video card. just get a 6800GT and easily OC it to ultra speeds.

3. WTF is with that PSU? just get a quality antec, like a true 430 or something. uber wattage != uber PSU.

Well you see, i haven't purchesed it yet, i want to see if any one has any suggestions befor i do. However, this comes to nearly $2,000. But i don't acualy have to pay for it, the circumstances are rather complicated, but no matter. I simply want to build the best posible computer with 2,000 dollars. and im wondering what people think of this rig.

well Nick, thank you for your suggestion. As for the ram, i am planning on OC although i'm not sure to what extend. Im toying with the idea of liquid cooling, but ill leave that for another post. As for the video card, i agree i could just OC a GT, But why not OC an ultra? Finaly, the PS. My research seemed to show the Thermaltake having preaty good performance, have you heard something bad about it? Furthermore, i agree Uber wattage != not a good PS, but would an antec acualy be better. Other than the Neo none of them seem to have active pfc. Right now im most concerned with my mobo choice. Im just not sure wether to go with the supposedly faster MSI, and risk some of the issues people have reported. Or to stick with good old reliable asus. Its kind of a dificult desicion, is any one has any insight, it would be most helpful.

If you have 2k bucks to spend, pay less on everything and save for a dual 6800ULTRA SLI MB ;)

Seriously though, you don't need that bad a PSU for Radeon GPUs, which tend to use less power. Also you might wanna consider RAID but only if you need it. Might wanna consider a sound card too if you have some extra money.

Crap I used "might wanna" too many times.

Hehe that would be cool, nut the mobos simply arent ocming out fast enugh. I sort of need to buy it befor the end of the month, or the begining of the next. And i cant really save the money, it must be spent on computer components. You see UPS broke mine in shipping and they have agreed to pay for a new one, but i have to give them recipts.
