Not bad at all. I might go for a different case though, if I were you. I recommend Antec, myself. Lian Li is nice if you want aluminum. Chenming, Chieftec, Enermax, and Wavesonic all make different variations of the same cases, better known as the Antec SX series..

I'd prolly get an SX840 or an equivalent with another name popped on there.

Nice system but...

I assume you already have a monitor, kbd, and mouse to go with this setup

1)
If you can wait a couple of weeks for the GF4 Ti's to come out, I'd do it, that GF3 Ti500 will be much cheaper by then...
Actually, if you can wait until then, I'd preorder the Visiontek GF4 Ti4400 from Gateway for $234 shipped, it'll beat the Ti500 in pretty much everything
you can get it from Gateway with a $50 rebate from Tech Bargains

2)
Personally, I'd also go with the 1.6A as they overclock almost as well as the 1.8As as it's ~$50 cheaper than the 1.8A

3)
Order your memory directly from Crucial, going through Anandtech and ebates to save ~$12 per stick
OR (and I suggest this)
Pick up 2 sticks of PC333 OCZ RAM for $84 a stick ($24 savings)

Then, using those ~$104 you saved:
- I'd pop for the $48 16x Lite-On DVD-Rom instead of the $30 CD-ROM
- I'd switch the $16 Hercules Sound card for a $61 Audigy OEM

that should keep either
A) you choose the 1,6A, you slap ~$40 in your back pocket with a computer that will likely be just as fast in CPU tasks and much nicer in games
B) if you keep the 1.8A and spend an extra ~$10 and get a nicer computer in pretty much every aspect
C) choose option A and paypal me those $41 :D

i many go with the dvd upgrade, but im not that big with sound, i have 2 speakers and dont want to pay for what will work best on 4 or 5 speakers, so im just getting what i deserve, and i heard this is great for its price.

IMHO you should go for the gateway deal on the Ti4400 and the PC2700 memory anyways

You'll still come ahead a few bucks
