My New Ride

A few days ago I decided it was time to finally purchase my first brand new car so after much research I decided that I wanted a Mazda 6. Fun to drive and gas mileage is not bad either.

I spent damn near 8 hours at the dealership negotiating, but it was well worth it. They tried every trick in the book, but I held my ground and paid well less than what edmunds said I should. 🙂

Added to the stereo

Sound system is stock with the exception I added a JL Slash 250.1, JL 12w3 v3, and iPod connectivity. Also had all of the windows tinted.

Nice. I have the same type of hatchback though its a 2005.
For some reason I thought the 2008 style was the generation 2.0.

nice car! be careful though, black is a bitch to take care of. my sister has a black '06 nissan altima... shows every spec of dirt 😛

I've never owned a black car, but in the past week and a half I have learned that.

Get dat dealership decal off. Is your car the 6i or the 6s?
It's the i version.

Cool. I have the i version as well. Gives better gas mileage and the manual trans has plenty of kick.
I like the audio mods you did. Myself, I modified the metra kit and added a double-din GPS unit. Not easy but it took me 3 months to modify the kit enough so that it looked okay (worked only on weekends).

Nice. I love black cars. Had 3 black Dodges in a row before my daughter decided that red was the color of the next one (Chevy Cobalt Coupe in red). Black might be a bitch to keep clean, but they sure do look nice when they are (clean). But, they also get hotter than other cars, obviously.
