MY new place of work is an utter sh1thole

so much stress, so much overwork, so little relevant technical support when required, inadequate resources and training provided, assh0le management.. result - me having my stomach permantly tied up in a knot, inability to sleep at night, and a constant feeling of nausea when I am there (I actually feel like I could start vomitting at any moment). All this after just three weeks on the job. :exhausted;

chill man! Throw another shrimp on the barbie and pop a Fosters, you'll be fine...

that or start looking around for another job 😉

have you ever worked in an environment (technical support) or what ever ?? .. you need to explain more about the job .. what do you do ??

The sooner you realize you shouldn't care as long as you are getting your paycheck, the less hideous this job will look.

You don't work because you want to, you work because you want to get paid.

holy freaking QFT

Work = opposite of leisure. Do it just to get paid, get off, and enjoy leisure. Only do enough to get by and screw the rest...jobs are a means to an end and nothing more.

Then you're lucky you have that past experience to recollect fondly. In the meantime get on with it. Do your job. don't like it? Find another job.
My work sucks, if I wanted to take a paycut I could work somewhere that pleases me, but I don't want to take a paycut, so I put up with it.

/thread.

why don't you come and work for my boss, when you stuff, he doesn't threaten to sack you..oh no, he threatens to have you smuggled in to china and put in front of a firing squad..or run over by a tank(he was a former chinese army tank driver during the late 80's😉)
