Would love to hear your input on this monstrosity...

This is going to be not a big leap but a huge one since my current computer is over 8 years old and i think it is time to build a new acomputer.

These is what i need:

CASE(Full tower) = Fractal Design Define 7 XL = ~$230

GPU = MSI Gaming Radeon RX 7900 XTX 24GB GDDR6 = $950

CPU = Intel Core i7-14700KF 14th gen = $393

MOBO = MSI MPG Z790 EDGE TI MAX WIFI LGA 1700 = $389

RAM = 32GB DDR5 but don't know which there are so many of them (gskill?)

PSU = MSI - MEG Ai1300P PCIE 5.0, 80 PLATINUM = $250

SSD = 4x WD_BLACK SN850X 4TB = $230 =($920) or Samsung 990pro or both?

Win 11 Pro = $21

Will be purchasing from these vendors: Newegg, Amazon, Microcenter, or Bestbuy.

I need help with RAM and maybe Motherboard is the one i picked any good? Am i missing anything?

A big thanks and happy holidays!

1. What YOUR PC will be used for.
All purpose

2. What YOUR budget is.
$3-4K

3. What country
USA

5. IF YOU have a brand preference.
None. Need reliability

6. If YOU intend on using any of YOUR current parts, and if so, what those parts are.
Key, mouse, Monitor

7. IF YOU plan on overclocking or run the system at default speeds.
Default

8. What resolution, not monitor size, will you be using?
4K = 3840 x 2160 pixel

9. WHEN do you plan to build it?
ASAP

10. Do you need to purchase any software to go with the system, such as Windows or Blu Ray playback software?
Win 11 Pro

Everything I see looks good except I personally would go with the 990 Pros and an AMD CPU/MOBO just because it's just as fast and runs cooler overall. First time I'm building a non-Intel system myself also.

I keep Intel and WD

Updated

our PC Parts Picker list doesn't work for me.

Looking at your original list...I don't see a CPU cooler. That's an important component...these things run HOT! I have an i5-13600K...the Arctic Cooling Liquid Freezer II 280 I have struggles at times.
With that case, you should have a ton of options...air, custom loop, or AIO liquid cooler.

My mistake, I updated it.

The important thing is to lock in your purchases by Monday. After that, some prices will probably edge up.

Although there are certainly cheaper Windows keys to be found, Woot! has it for $25 and they are an Amazon company. If I understand correctly, most of the sub $25 Windows keys are from "gray market" resellers. YMMV

I want to go to Micro Center for an AM5 bundle, but they keep selling out of the budget MSI B650-P motherboard. :( They have lots of open box boards and RAM kits from returns on hand, which isn't reassuring LOL.
