My new modem doesn't disc when line is busy.

If the line is busy the modem (Diamon SupraExpress 56E Pro) will keep on trying to connect until the 60 secs are up, which automatically makes it disconnect. That wasn't the case with my old USRobotics. How do I fix this?

Drivers? Firmware upgrade maybe? Seems like it would have to be that the modem doesn't recognize that there's a busy signal...
