Here is my new Jetta. I just picked this car up on Thursday night.

Did you know VW sells sport springs that lower it about three quarters of an inch and stop most body roll in turns? They're only a couple hundred and well worth it if you're into sport driving :)

You'd be amazed at the VAST amount of go fast parts and go fast looks items that you can order from VW. The number of wheel styles that you can order is downright mind boggling in itself.

Oh I know. I have a Passat. :) The after market selection is huge too.

From $16,850 for the base 2.0 to $27,000 for the GLX fully loaded including the VR6

For the Passat you can get the 1.8t, the 2.8L V6, and the new W8.

do a lot of americans buy one of these TDI's?
Over here more then 50 % of the cars sold are diesels.

(btw over here the Jetta is called the Bora)

Nope, only the 90HP TDI is available here.

Diesel isn't as popular in the states as it is over there.

We don't get the bigger diesels over here because our diesel fuel quality is horrible compared to Europe. The engines couldn't run on the sludge that put in the pumps.
