i concluded that 40,320 posts would be the max possible, since there is a 15 second limit between posts

Quite possibly. I was once a member of a spam forum (with no moderators) and a group of several spammers managed only five thousand posts in three days.

What about by the END of next week? Perhaps I could write some sort of script that would allow me to post stuff every 15 seconds. The script could scan every thread and look for key words and post randomly generated stuff based on it.

For example...lets say there is a thread with the word "Help" in the title. The script would recognize that and automatically post something like "Best of luck to you!" The moderators would never know (other than the fact I'm posting it right now).
