my new gaming rig, need input please

hello, id like some information about these parts that ive choosen for my new rig, its mostly ganna use for gaming ex,grid,age of conan, eq2,cod4 and crisys.

here is the break down of the parts ive got already and plan to upgrade

already have:

amd 4200+
4x512mb ocz ram
asrock dual agp/pci-e motherboard
creative labs x-gamer sound
ati 4870 512mb video by visiontek
seagate 360gb sata2 hdd
lite-on 16xdvd-rw
ocz 700w gamer psu
window xp pro


here are the parts i want to upgrade to

intel q6600
4x2gb Patriot Extreme Performance pc2-6400 ddr2 ram total 8gb
DFI LP LT X38-T2R ATX LGA775 X38 DDR2 2PCI-E16 CrossFireX
sound card will use intergraded
will pair 2x ati 4870 512mb by visiontek in crossfireX
will use same harddrive
switching to samsung 20x sh-s203n sata drive the liteon is acting up
will use same ocz 700w psu
windows vista 64bit

i did someresearch on the dfi and patriot memories compatibility and dint find anything, was wondering if everything will bootup from the start or will i have issues

i will be ordering from ncix.com in canada, since newegg dont deliver to us (

any subjectiong to these items im going to change to, it will be welcomed before i order on wenesday

8GB is a waste for gaming. 4 is plenty. 4GB shouldn't cost you more than $70. If it does, you're overspending.

How big is your monitor?

its an acer 22" but i also plan to keep this computer for the next 3 years and maybe just change the videocard in 1.5 to 2 years from now this is why i picked 8gb since it was 60$ more
