You really drive that thing 70 miles round trip?

I guess the people calling fail don't realize that the OP lives in Europe (Holland, IIRC), where bicycles are a lot more common as a viable mode of transportation than here in the US

yep, it's actually just as fast as my car during rush hour because of traffic
it's a pedal assisted electric bike, goes 45 km/h

top tech from Germany

close, I'm from Belgium :)

and yes, bicycles are widely used here

That's pretty cool. I just bought a conversion kit for a bike from Currie for $300. I have only ridden down the battery twice (just put it on an old bike over the weekend). It's max speed is the same max speed as the bike was normally, of about 16. Not sure on actual range yet, but I would estimate it at > 5 miles so far.

I'll do a proper review once I ride it more.
