ordered everything from newegg except the case....im pretty happy, my old 1ghz dell isnt cutting it anymore. is there anything else i need? this is my first attempt to build my own comp...but my friend who builds his own is gonna help me.

Did you get 2 sticks? Your PC will be slower if forced to run in single-channel mode

yea im using one...yea i know...i dont have the cash yet to buy the other one...but how much slower will it run?

You could get 2x256 for a total of 512 if you want to run dual channel.
