My new computer won't boot...

I just install everything in place and tried to turn it on..

I can see the stand by light of the motherboard turned on but it doesn't work
my fans aren't even turning..

this is my first time tryign to build a computer by myself so i couldn't really troubleshoot the problem
 
well, i hear a beep sound when i turn off my power supply
but when i press the power button, nothing really happens

i just see the stand by light on my mobo dim, and then return to normal light
 
What standby light are you talking about???

If the fans are not even spinning I would check the PSU first. Make sure all your power cables are connected according to the Mobo manual.
 
well, my mobo DFI Lanparty NF3 250GB has a standby light on the motherboard... and that's on...

i checked the power cables a few times already..

i plugged in the 12V aux and the 20pin power cable...

and im pretty sure its in the right place.... there's only one place that they would fit anywayz
