my new comp fail to run 3dmark2001SE...help!

i just got my new comp today, specs
AMD Athlon XP 2100+
512 DDR Ram
ATI Radeon 8500 LE
Epox EP-8RGA+ mobo

i've installed the newest nforce drivers for my mobo, and newest catylst 3.2 driver for my ati radeon 8500LE

when i start 3dmark01SE, it shows testing game 1 in low detail, then after that, the monitor screen gone black, and the computer is not responding anymore...have to reset...

does anyone know wat's the problem?
 
What OS r u running?

Make sure the onboard video is disabled.
make sure Windows is all up to date.
Make sure you have directX installed.
Make sure you have the latest video drivers installed as well.
 
Did you do a fresh install of your OS? If not you really probably should, especially if your switching mobo drivers and video card drivers.
 
thanx guys, i manage to fix this problem by changing the power supply unit to a more powerful wan, coz according to my friend, it might cause by not enough amp or something...after i change the PSU, everything is fixed
