Nice, other than the feeling of guilt you somehow managed to give me :) When are you going to mod it?

ya guilt is good i hate when people say bad things about other things that arent bad and which i can afford to get better. Mod it i dont know how to/what tools?/how much tools cost/? I couldnt get a better case b/c the shipping was too much you know. I got this one for $33 and free shipping glad my mom let me get it (BTW I DECIDED TO SPRAY PAINT MY CDROMS/FLOPPY BLACK ECECPT MY PHILIPS CD RW) SINCE CASE IS BLACK OR WOULD WHITE CD ROMS, ECT. LOOK GOOD W/ BLACK CAN A SCEENY of a case black w/ white cdroms

EDIT (I FOUND THESES I CAN PICK UP WHEN I GET MONEY)

A BIG WINDOW KIT its too big for my new case anyway sip it thoughjt i show it

The small window has a good price. The larger one may look nice, but it make take up too much room on the side of your case. The only tool you should really need is either a jigsaw or a rotary tool. The rest is child's play :)

Let me know how you like that case...I was thinking of ordering one. Looks like it's a pretty well built/sturdy case!

Not bad... but if you have beige drives you're gonna have to spraypaint them otherwise it'd look pretty bad.

There are cases you can order that come with windows ya know :).

Why don't you just get a part time job or something, and you'll be able to buy tons of stuff. Sounds like you don't have any expenses, so you'll get to keep whatever you make :D

Heheh forget the power tools, if you got time (which it sounds like you might), just pick yourself up a nibbler. A little elbow grease and a few hundred (or maybe thousand) nibbles, and you'll have a nice cut out for that window. They sell nibblers as "case modification tool" at CompUSA, and it works extremely well on sheet metal and plastic.

Nibbling too :)

As seen at CompUSA

All you need is a drill or even a pilot hole punch to start a small hole for the nibbling head. You shouldn't need any heavy duty tools to clean up the cuts. If you take your time with an outline, the straightaways should be very easy and the corners are as well. You could probably get away with just a metal file. I use my dremel and it takes seconds, but I can't imagine a file taking more than a few minutes. Nibblers are easier to control and have a cleaner cut IMO than any power tools, just takes a while.

Usually, I don't like people's taste in cases in this forum, but your's is nice.

Are you going to be using your cusa powersupply?

Today they just shipped my order so i should get it tommarrow or either monday. Yes im going to keep this compusa psu its alright, i have no money to get a psu and if i did i wouldn't spend it on a new psu. I probably get a new cpu or ram because this is a good cheap psu it seems like.

Ya im going to like this case only one problem is the white cd roms and floppy i going have to spraypaint there facepaint but it cool and the cd rw staying same beacause its kind of ghey if you know how the Philips burners look you know mine but heres a pic well the link to the pic is my cd rw it will look alright in this black case if not oh well
Also im not going to mod b/c i know i would screw it up i gotta stick to other things than this pc ;-).
