All I can say is that thing is a work of art. Exceedingly nice work.

I'd like to see a price/parts list once your done to see if something like that would fit in my budget.

Nice! work Greg, but the mobo is backwards. ;) Total cost of that has to about one grillion bucks including labor. I could never do anything like that. No tools, no talent, and the even the nearest "Hobby Lobby" is 40 miles away.

ya know, I have never been to a hobby lobby...there are one or 2 around here.

as for the Mboard, I wanted it that way because Im jsut gana run cables to where I want the certain plugs on the outside of the case. I wanted this to look as neet as posable, and having to fut a huge rectangle with a bunch of plugs I would never use seemed to down grade the streemline nis of what I was going for.

Im probably jsut gana jave a bunch of USB plugs and one audio jack for the outside....no need for ps2, serial, or paralell stuff now adays.

Rounded silver braid cables ought to look nice in there and keep the system's neat layout intact. Please post more pics after you take it a few more steps. I'm liking this one.

Heck, I don't know what I would do without my floppy!

Floppy?!! People still use those things? eithorway, you can have an external USB one or pop in an internal one...but I personally dont need or use a floppy. I have an external USB burner if I need somethign that bad, or just use the network. I have some of them rounded cables, but I that what would be even better is using a Normal flat cable, and run it Under the Mboard and it almost exactly lines up with the plugs on the dvd and HD. that way the cable is totally flat on the bottom of the case. Just what I have been thinking atleast. :) Yea, Ill take more pics ecentually,,but I have been sick and bussy. Check back here and there though.

That's awfully pretty. I've been wanting to do something like that, but don't have the time or money right now. I'm working on my plexiglass case for a custom built Tivo-like personal video recorder. Ordered the last part today, so everything should be here by the end of the week. Hopefully I can build and test the system by week's end, and then start on the plexi case building next week-end.
