Thanks to Boogak I have finally made my decision between the Nissan 350Z and the Infiniti G35 Coupe

looks like the G35 is the winner due to a disqualification by the 350z of not being able to fit my luggage in the car. At least it makes my decision easy.

I think i'm gonna go w/ the light silver color, whatever they call it at infiniti. any tips on colors or interiors. or options?

Thanks to all how posted HELPFUL information in my many car posts.

Coupes > Convertibles anyway, and I'd rather have the creature comforts of the Infiniti.

Make sure you can fit in it.

-edit- what I mean is the coupe is tiny if you go that route. I would have been all over one but I'm too tall.

never driven a 350Z but the G35C's trunk is awuful small. You know its trouble when they ahve a sticker that shows you the correct orientation to fit 2 golf bags in the trunk at the same time

See if you are anybody you know qualifies for VPP (vehicle purchase program)

VPP page: http://www.insidenissan.com/vpp/nissan/offer.html

This forum doesn't give much love to the Z, but I love mine. The car is an absolute blast, but it's not at all practical (did you expect it to be?). The Z is sometimes a harsh ride, but I believe it makes up for it in better conditions.

I like the color more than the car.

Im pretty short (5'10"), so sports cars work great for someone my height.

I really like the Z, but it wont hold my luggage and I travel at least once a month. Just doesnt work. kinda ticks me off, but the g35 is pretty badass too.

Dont worry, pics will come. but prob not for a month or so when i actually receive the car.

Both cars are friggin' sweet! However, for "luggage" and other "practical" uses, I'd skip both. I won't give specific recommendations, but I'd go 4-door just b/c I don't know of any really practical 2-door cars.

I tend to think that the Golf / GTI are pretty practical 2-doors.

Can swallowing quarters cause health problems, or will they pass?

I'd take the G35 over the 350Z just because I really don't like how the 350Z looks, but both are great cars.

it's better than the 350Z with the giant stabilizing bar.

I like the G35 coupe in the darker gray color. With a wing and some aftermarket rims (of the same size), it can look tres phatty.

i have the G35c in Bright Silver (light silver) you can also fold down the backseat to make the trunk space even bigger.

get the 2005 model its interior is soooo much nicer than the 2004 model
since u say u travel a lot make sure you clear bra the front of the car!!!!

check out www.g35driver.com
