My new burner is making weird noises and acting funny 🙁
I got this LG burner for Christmas, and since then it has been acting up. It's been making funny swiping noises when I read a CD, and CD reading hasn't been too reliable 🙁 I'm not *sure*, but could this have been caused by the troubles I had with Adaptec messing up my registry? 🙁 I'm gonna reinstall windows 2000 on top of my existing install and check the cable connections to see if anything's wrong there.

BTW, the burner model is: LG CD-ReWriteable Recorder GCE-8160B 40xRead/10xReWrite/16xWrite help!
