All 3 PCs use Chieftec cases, DX series - great cases, I think this is the same case used by thermaltake and Antec in their builds (only front panel differs on Thermaltake, it's very metro)

So, comments? Tips and tricks for the new rig? This is my first Nvidia based build after many many years. My last one was Tbird 1.4 / 512 ddr / Gainward Gforce3...

Try overclock your CPU more if you can...
I have the exact cooler as you have there. Although my DFI board might be more overclockable.
You could have bought a 3000+ and o/ced it to 2500Mhz and perhaps to 2700 if you are lucky :/

The core isn't Venice, I'll change the CPU after new year coz it takes time for hardware to catch up where I live.

Tips and trick to overclock this board? Lots of settings in the bios, I'll have to study RojakPot's guide first coz this bios is different than the Nforce3 ones.

Running the ram at 2.5 / 3 / 3 / 7 - currently. Not sure if 1 or 2T (set on auto atm)

Gonna have to experiment a bit the next couple of days.

Did I mention the 4 Rigs are all in 1 room. Whisper quiet. The only noise comes from the watercooling pump.

On a side note: I build a SFF build with 3.06 CeleronD for a friend (Prescott core) - WTF! This thing was idling at 60 celsius! Way more than the 1.4 Thunderbird.

Who has intel on this board nowdays and uses it for gaming (NO FLAME, JUST A Q!)

you have an issue there, running 4x 512 puts the memory at 2T @ 400 speeds if you have a E6 rev chip, if you dont have a E6 rev itll be running at 333 speeds
 
I overclocked, first try..

11 x 230 mhz = 2530mhz
Mem at 460MHz 1:1
3:5:5:10 - I tried these timings for stability, will go lower after I test the current 2530mhz for stability.

3D Mark 2005 rose by more than 1000 points, 11160 currently

You should be 1-1.5k above my 11000 3D mark05 score, maybe more if u o/c

Great setup...well, maybe the 2 500gb drives will make more noise and u wont gain much from the raid0 but overall, great choice!

on the real though, aren't u kinda lagging in your storage? 80gb is like bare minimum and in your setup, shouldn't you put a 250gb hard drive?
