A bit grainy (iPhone pic). 2010 Specialized Rockhopper SL Pro

Pretty nice bike, had been looking for one in 2009 then got hurt...was a bit upset to find out that in 2011 Specialized is more focused on 29ers.

Found a new old stock 2010 30mins from my office.

25lbs is pretty damn light.

Picked up a Specialized Vice helmet, Bontrager Mini Pump, a couple Spok lights so people can see me, 50oz Camelbak, and they threw in a shock pump.

Bought a Saris Bones 2 to get it home (pretty nice trunk rack).

Got everything out the door for about $1390...less than the MSRP on the bike :)

Great bike. I want one, but for now I am using a Trek 4900 with a 13inch frame for dirt jumping.

If you went hardtail, why not go 29er? What's your beef against them?

thats not that bad for a complete build

my frame alone cost that

interesting that specialized is going all 29er, seems kinda strange, anyone know why?

They're not going all 29er - they've just started adding a 29er option in every flavor.

Funny, I see 3 StumpJumpers that aren't 29ers.

And the two lower RockHoppers aren't 29ers - $780 & $820 too.

Didnt see any 2011 stumpjumpers, I already mentioned below 1000 there are rockhoppers they are very good.

Don't know what the fuck you are trying to prove though...

That you're wrong. Either way, you got a nice bike but no idea why you wouldn't go 29er even on single tracks. You'd get much better performance, but to each their own.

nah, i picked up a $200 mongoose last week. 29er. 1st time riding a bike in 20 years and i'm absolutely loving it. 29s just feel right. i'll move up gradually once i get accustomed again.

Only reason I got mine last year when I did is the guy told me it was $1000 and he would take off $100 more if I bought my wife a bike. I knew the bike listed for $1250 and asked him if he was sure on the price. He was just opening his shop so I was being the nice guy. He said no it was right... told him I thought it was around $1200. He looked again and said nope it's $1000. Told him sold and walked out with it for $900 and my wifes was on sale that week for $100 off MSRP:)
