Athlon 1GHZ
128 NON-ECC PC2100
MWave 6606/3
SOYO K7ADA

Comes to 396 bucks, not including shipping. Good price to value ratio? IS this a good system for games?? I plan to get a ATI Radeon 64mb VIVO,and 20GB 7200 rpm drive.

I would get something other than the ALi chipset. And I'd get Crucial's PC2100 256MB, only $75.

Yeah, once I get this system from MWAVE, I will get 256mb ram from Crucial.

Why not the ALI chipset?

Because they perform kinda bad, in some cases its even slower than KT133A, if you really want to go cheap I think KT133A is the best option. Or get AMD760 or KT266 for DDR.

How about the EPOX 8K7A??? The mobo you listed is a little out of my price range.

I didnt list any mobos, AMD760 and KT266 are chipsets. That Epox you mentioned is good.

the AD11 is only 110, and has all the oc stuff you could want, and it is on the AMD760 chipset. It is older but supports good stuff: here is the link: AD11 and a review: review

yeah, that EPOX board is great, butthere are two problems. The plus version is much better, but I can't find it. Second, I can't find a review
