Seems like they're still keeping an AWD variant which can send 100% of engine power to the rear wheels:

Seems to me it's the same system but reprogrammed, instead of rear wheel drive biased and sends power to the front and brake vectoring when needed, it's the opposite with the emphasis on a lot more front wheel drive.

Did you try the sport seats? I think they're not made for larger people as I can see how the side bolsters, even adjustable, can be intrusive. But we love them, and if you can't be comfortable in them, something must be wrong with you :p. I found it funny that some reviewers complained about the sport seats in the X1, but then praised the same seats in another series in BMW line-up, they have identical part numbers.

The only differences between my car and the 35i M-sport are the transmissions and the engines; but I took care of the engine so I think the combo of 8-speed and +300hp is better than 6-speed and 300hp. Although I read on a forum that some guy with proper upgrades brought his 35i to over 400hp, which filled in the long gears on the 6-speed nicely, and was demolishing people at the tracks. :awe:

My problem was with the rear seats actually. The front seats were standard BMW fare. Though I think their base leather isn't as nice as Audi's.

Yeah, they're a bit harder than I'd like; luckily I rarely, if ever, sit back there ;). The leather is the same Nevada leather in any other BMWs with Nevada leather. My 10 years old E46's leather it's still holding it's shape, I'm not too concerned. Can't comment on Audi's leather, don't have much experience with them.
