Hey All,

There have probably already been a lot of people to post OC'ed 1.2's, but this is my first, so I thought I would report. The chip has only been in my machine for about an hour now, but it seems stable at 107*12.5 (it came unlocked) giving me a speed that varies between 1341-1343MHz. Right now it seems to be cracking at about 4.75 Mk/s!. Man... I alread want dual Tbird 1500's! How long will they make us wait for the 10Mk/s machine? :D:D:D

Joe

Oops...forgot to mention voltage, sorry. It's at 1.775v, .025v above default.

Nice one, anything to boost the key-rate :D

Its also a good overlock if it is stable with such a little voltage add-on also.

It's on a regular Abit KT7 (non-"A", non-RAID). Singing sweetly so far.

im assuming thos numbers are under Win98 ??

how about you throw a linux floppy in there and see what keyrate you can get with it

Any voltage above 1.75 seems to make the computer hang quickly. Been to the desktop for about 4-5 minutes at 1400, but it eventually crashes. Already have 80mm intake and exhaust fans, an Enermax 351W PS and a HedgeHog/DeltaBlack Label setup using Arctic Silver. Without going tooooo far into the esoterics of water cooling or peltiers, I think I've about hit the wall with this chip.

The good news is that in a year we'll all be saying things like "Crap! This new 1.6GHz Chip I got won't do over 2GHz!" I can hardly wait.

That's double the keyrate of my Celery 566@850, that's getting 2.36 Mk/sec.

Could you run an OGR bench on that Joe?

cpars,

Klinux is a small version of Linux made by Kilowatt, he hangs out in these forums, it can boot and run from a floppy and is specialized for RC5 only, download it for free (sorry forgot the link, ask Kilowatt) and put it on a floppy, post your keyrate here.

well I just set it up very quickly and ran some randoms and came up with 5.02 mkeys/s.
