If it's what I'm thinking of he was on the money on this one. The ReiserFS team blows alot of smoke. It may be a good product now, but when I tried it back in the RedHat 7.? days, it had serious problems which the Reiser guys tried to pass off on everybody but themselves.

Alan Cox has always seemed like a straight shooter to me, maybe a little more political then I care for. What's your issue?

I don't agree with his politics. Although I definitely insult him by comparing him to Stallman, and I am sorry for that.
