really ?

I mean i have my 5600 on 4xAGP and it performs like my old 440 MMX, i always thought it was due to my motherboard being 8x AGP

my CPU is a 2000+ Palermo btw

55C is fine. What is the point/question? As a side note, sux u only have 4x AGP.

Dude, there is no difference between AGP 4X and 8X.

What is the difference between AGP 4X and 8X then? I always just assumed 8X performed better 😕

Let's pretend you have one car traveling down a one lane highway. Now let's say they double the lanes. Will the car be able to travel faster with two lane opposed to one lane?

What they did was increase the AGP throughput when the previous version wasn't even saturated. Thus, very little to no gain going from AGP 4X to AGP 8X.
