A friend of mine showed me an interesting problem and I can't seem to solve it. As I recall usually when you install a network card My Network Places shows up in Xp Prof. This doesn't seem to be the case with his as he has a working card and Lan but no "My Network Places" icon is to be found. I know enabling the icon is burried somewhere in Xp but it seems to want to hide. Anyone know where to enable it?
