my network places/internet explorer script error

hey

the other day i went to browse my dads computer through my network places in windows me and what did i find..... ?

i can't view any of the other computers
but i am attached to the network..

now i did a search for this file, and it's not even on my computer
maybe it was deleted somehow, i dont know, can i get it back some how?

also, i went into system tools to take stuff off my start up [i know msconfig can be used], but the page cannot be displayed?

arg! :/
maybe it IS time to format and get XP...


anyone know how to solve my dilemma?
i checked microsofts support page and found nothing, maybe i am looking for the wrong thing? i don't know..

any help is appreciated

See if the above link works. I found the same problem you are having on Microsoft's Support Page. Google will find anything by the way.
