My network or the ISP

About every 4 seconds I get a massive lag spike in my wireless network. (Linksys 150N router, to WRT54G client) is this my network or should I be looking for a new ISP to solve this?

Dont ya think you should test without your router to see?

This. Take your home gear out of the equation. Otherwise, what you're seeing is not unusual for wireless. Change channels to 1, 6, 11.

I shall, it will take some time though. My stuff has been neatly stored away and will take a while to move

Thanks for the quick help guys

Oh and so you know, when I was running the same hardware on a different network it had no problems (though the two routers were right next to each other) Now I'm off to shuffle hardware around

god 3 posts in a row, I'm an ass

GenHoth...the thing to take away is "you can't control your wireless environment". Eliminate ALL home network gear and see if the symptom still exists. Go from there. If it does still exist then you call your provider, if it doesn't "problem is on your end".
