My Network Connection keep uh... dropping?

I cna't even figure out where the problem is with this. I just got a new server. My old one never had this problem. Old server was an Athlon 1100 on an Asus A7V. The new server is based on a MSI RS482M-IL Socket 754 ATI Radeon XPRESS 200 Micro ATX with a Sempron 2600+. I'm using the same gigabit PCI ethernet card as I used on the A7V.

Every once in a while when I save something to the server my computer will stop responding. Whatever song is streaming from the server will stop playing and the whole computer just sits for a minute. Then the network connection resumes. The two things that make this weird is that I can still access other computers on the network and the internet while the connection to the server is frozen. Also, other computers are able to access the server while mine is locked up.

My computer is a DFI nForce 4 SLI with X2 and the onboard gigabit. Thanks for any help as this has been driving me crazy for a few days.

On each computer that exhibits the problem (including your server) Go to Control Panel -> Network settings -> right click on your Gigabit Lan connection -> then I think there is an advanced tab, find the section that says flow control and make sure the value is either auto, or 1000full duplex.
