I've read a fair amount of bad neighbor horror stories on this forum so I figured that I would change it up and tell a story about some GOOD neighbors.
A couple of weeks ago three girls moved into the other apartment in my building. They brought their dog with them, a Jack Russell Terrier. A couple of days ago they left the apartment and the dog started howl... and continued to for about four hours. My roommate waited until the girls came back and went over to tell them that their dog was howling and that we weren't sure if something was wrong or whatever. The girls apologized, the dog got quiet, and we left the city for a bit.
I went back to the city yesterday for some beer and BBQ at my buddy's place. I stopped by my apartment and was greeted with a pleasant surprise. Hanging on the door was a bag with three bottles of good beer and a note. In the note, the girls apologized for the dog and told us that they really appreciated us not being douchebags about the situation. They told us to take the 3 beers as a token of their appreciation and a token of apology.

Also, here's a pic of the beers they gave us. I didn't take a close look at them, so I have no idea what they are or who makes them. Can anyone identify these?
