If I lived next door to you and you snitched on me.

I would be forced to put the desert on my waist.

Then proceed to get my eagle on.

Joking
:)
If you lived next door to me, the house wouldn't be a ghetto shithole, so there'd be no need for snitching or deagling. :p

deagling? As in Mrs. Deagle? :p

I'm going to pistol-whip the next CS-playing e-Thug that says "Deagle".

I was referencing Gremlins the movie. :p

My lawn was about a week overdue on mowing and they sent me a summons to cut it that day or else I have to go to court. Sheesh. I got home at 8PM and mowed it because I knew they would follow through on their threat.
That kind of stuff is just bullshit. All I want is for this person's yard NOT to look like a junkyard....I don't think that's too much to ask.

Did you forget which state you lived in?

I don't think us NC peeps fare any better though. We are in the South after all...

Our former neighbors got us cited for letting the pool turn a wee bit on the green side. Really wasn't our fault, the damn pool motor thingy blew and the skimmer went to hell. We screwed with it off and on for a few days then had the pros out to look at it and by the time we were able to get a new pool motor it was a week and apparantly it doesn't take too long for a pool to go to hell in a hand basket.
The neighbors had at two story house and they thought our pool looked too ugly from their perspective so they called the city.

Really mega lame, they could have came over and mentioned something if they didn't like it so we could tell them, "hey asshat the pool motor and skimmer are dead get off our back". . . . argh still pissed about that and it was two years ago.

Actually it is pretty nice. I just got stuck next to a slob and a guy whose estranged son is a crackhead.

Wait....no...it really isn't that bad.....really. :p

It's so sad that our government pays our CDC biologists so poorly that they have to live in the projects.

That reminds me of my brother-in-law's old neighborhood. The neighbors behind him were vietnamese and they had a pool in the backyard, but instead of using it as a pool, they were growing some kind of vegetables in the stinking green filth in the pool. They used a rake to harvest whatever the fvck it was.

They also had chickens and stuff running around the yard, but I don't know if the city ever got a complaint about them.

Just what we need: a malcontent thong-wearing biologist with access to all the fun disease-causing microorganisms you can shake a stick at. :p

That would piss me off, I'd probably burn down the whole development.

I don't live in the ghetto, I just live next to a lazy biotch. 90% of the folks in the area are good about keeping their house/yard looking nice.

Of course they would be good about keeping their house looking nice. I mean, it's not like they have anything better to do while waiting for the job-services office to call them with news of a new job for them. And I purposefully called it the "projects" because I didn't want to hurt your feelings. I'm sure there are some very nice gov'ment funded housing areas.

Fausto, I missed it when you first posted this. Your neighbor stories never cease to entertain. :)
Thank goodness I have great neighbors to this point who keep their yards tidy and don't leave sh!t like bathtubs or old toilets laying around (which I have seen in places). On the other hand on this winding road I take to and from work there are several "luxurious" homes with the issues you mentioned. Two in particular stand out. One is a small, rundown trailer with a lovely dirt front yard about ten feet from the road where the guy apparently works on cars on the side and has them in all stages of disrepair, along with parts, strewn about his property. He also has a old barrel they light a fire in when it's cold and is often ringed with dozens of empty beer cans. Pure class. They also let their kids play in this filth.

The second place has one abandoned home (I think it caught on fire once) with at least a dozen rusted out vehicles in the jungle like front yard. A bit beyond that is their new glamerous pad which has much the same as the first. I think a relative lives in a tiny almost hut like place they built in the very front of the property next to this "manor." Oh did I mention the dozens of goats they have fenced off nearby that occassionally escape to the road?

The most amusing aspect of these two residences is they are across the street from one another!
