I have been living with my 3 roomates in this house for the past 6 months.

We had 1 party last year on December 1st to celebrate one of my roomates birthdays. Nothing crazy.

We have 4 cars and only one small driveway, and therefore 2 or 3 cars are always parked on the street. This is the case for the entire street.

Depending on which direction I am heading when I return home, I will park either directly in front of my house, or across the street in front of my opposite neighbors house.

My opposite neighbor has one car and it is always parked in the driveway.

My neighbor had NEVER asked me to move my car.

At 6:00 AM this morning I was awoken by Police Officers banging on my door.

They told me that my neighbor was complaining about partying and drugs and lots of cars parked in front of his house !!

WHAT ???? Party ??? Drugs ??? Many Cars ???

The cops realized pretty quickly that the old man was being a jerk and they apologized and told me to go back to sleep and not worry about it.

They said they would tell the old man to talk to us first next time he has a problem.

I wouldn't like that (from the old man's perspective) either but I'd at least talk to you about it first. Wasting the cop's time on false and baseless accusations should be grounds for a ticket.

I hate spineless asshats like that who don't try to talk things through first. He could have mentioned his concerns to you and avoided calling the police to begin with.

Yea, and he talks to the wrong person once and gets a bullet in the head. Not everyone wants to take that chance, especially older people who are afriad.
