I bet my roommate thinks I'm a douche, but F him. I'm an only child, and I grew up having my parents do most of the housework, and I don't think being messy is a big deal. My roommate nags because I like to drink, but who doesn't? Plus he whines about some money ($600) that I borrowed from him, but we never agreed on how/when I would pay it back. I decided to get a PDA (A SWEET Dell axim, btw), and I bet he's wondering why I didn't pay him the money instead. Well, I need the PDA for school and stuff. Today I spilled a little bit of food on the floor, and sure enough, there he was to moan about how we need to "keep the place clean".... What the hell? It's not like we need to eat food off the floor, and I'll eventually get around to it. People need to chill the F out.

He sounds pretty uptight, but the money thing makes me think you're an a$shole. Pay him back, and then you can b!tch.

I don't care if this is a parody or not but this thread pissed me off. This is exactly the way one of my roommates is, and me and my other roommate are sooooo close to beating the living sh|t out of him. :|
 
$600? I would have had you sign a contract on the repayment timeframe. I would have added interest too.

Friends maybe friends but after taking my business law class, I'm not risking it anymore. I mean if it was $10 fine, but if it's anything more than $150 you bet there will be a contract with a valid signature and witness.
