I love this show. The makers of "My name is Earl" apparently put easter eggs in their show that only people with HDTVs can see. I haven't actually caught any of them but I really like the idea.

For me its "More reason to hate Directv" since I cant get my locals in HD. But yeah, thats cool they do that. I remember seeing #2 posted before.

The only thing worth it is the fourth one.

I'm not buying a HDTV and service just to get little things like that.

The answer to your problem can be summed up in three words.

Over the air.

I can't get locals in HD either so I went the OTA route. Works great!

I get exactly one Digital OTA channel, and its not even in HD.. If I spoke spanish, I might even enjoy it 😉

But the spanish channels do seem to have a high number of hot chicks on them.
