Well, project complete. My first naked MB. Made it from parts I had and some I bought used. Since she is a dually, I?m going to call her Dolly. (Wife approved) 😛

I won?t bore everybody with the details; just suffice it to say she proved to be very finicky about her memory. I had to present her with four different modules before she found one that she would boot up with.

We aren?t going to blow anybodies doors off, being P3?s 450 MHz at 100 FSB, but it is a fun project. Next step will be to find her a friend??? 😛

Right now I just to see what her production will be. I'm guessing about four WU?s a day. (My Dell P3 500 does about two a day)

Still have a long way to go to match the racks of Engineer, Smoke, Compudog, et al. but it's fun. 😀

I'll stick with the hot tub 😉

But good luck ....even tempermental she's crunch Seti good..............if you keep 'em fed and happy 🙂

Maybe instead of something so hardcore you should let me bring over my old Mamiya with some NPH 400 and practice some tasteful nude portraiture. 😀
 
I put another naked lady together on Friday. She didn't mind the memorymodule, but refused to boot until I replaced her keyboard. Must not have liked the color. Anyway, she is running happily now, still unclothed, but behind a cabinet door.

That's interesting. The manual for this one: Intel L440GX+ says it will boot without keyboard. 😕 But I haven't tried it. 😀
 
I've got a dual PII450 running (IBM 5000 server). It does ~4 a day. 😀

In the last 7 days, it's turned in 27 WUs. 😀

Of course, it doesn't hold a candle to the dual 1800+ I have sitting here. 😉 😀

But 27 Wus is 27WUs! 😀
