My music

Heya!

I've fiddled around in my homestudio for a few years now and have produced most of the soundtracks I use in my roleplaying games myself. I've published the songs freely on the net and thought that it would be nice to share the songs with you. Essence -project contains orchestral songs for fantasy settings (but other music too) and Divinity -project contains mellow ambient soundscapes. Here are a few sample songs:

Angel's Tear (reprise): http://www.mikseri.net/music/play.php?id=142428&type=dl
Second Awakening: http://www.mikseri.net/music/play.php?id=139293&type=dl

Essence -project: http://www.mikseri.net/artists/essence.33863.php
Divinity -project: http://www.mikseri.net/artists/divinity.34995.php

I'm also producing music for the upcoming Ultima IX Redemption computer-rpg (http://cfkasper.de/ultima/) coming in year 2006.

omg I love dark ambient...!

Ever hear of german Dark Ambient/Experimental artist Thomas Köner? (sample1, sample2):thumbsup:

Welcome to Anandtech Michikawa!😀

Glad to hear you like the material 🙂

Gsaldivar: I haven't heard of Thomas Köner, but those samples are really great stuff! Seems I have to try and find some of his works!

First song I ever wrote. excuse the bad vocals (I'm not the guy singing, I'm the guitarist, still nothing to brag about, I was a teenager). It's raw and live, I ripped it from an old VHS tape. This is the late 80's so also excuse the cheesy-ness (this was hair band days). we were trying to be heavy....

It's a funny thing how much background music can bring to any activity. When I have free time, I usually take a little nap and put some mellow music on headphones - it really affects the way mind and inner visions work and evolve.

In pen-and-paper roleplaying games this has really big role - with good music you can actually create the places and feelings you're trying to describe vocally.

It may have server problems every now and then, but the server is in Finland, so it could be that if the distance is long the bandwidth won't be that good.
