My MSI KT7 Pro-2A keeps telling me the processor is bad!!!!

Any ideas what could cause this?? I've tried 2 different verified (both b4 and afterwards) working durons in it and it keeps lighting up the damn LEDs!! Any chance my board is bad?

and yes, I'm seating them properly 🙂

did you try the processors in a different board?

I've tested them on a ABIT K7T, but I don't have access to another MSI board... What would that tell me though?? that my processors don't work in MSI boards???

did you flash your bios before this started happening? 😕

nope didn't do anything!! other than leaving it sitting on for an extended period of time...

I just read in another thread that sometimes you have to clear the CMOS to get it back up after a processor failure, gonna go try that.
