My MS Natural Keyboard broke :(

...and last night it broke. First the o key wouldn't work, then the p key, Q and W both came out as R's. Turned off my computer, turn it back on, Keyboard doesn't work. Tried it on the other computer, still doesn't work 🙁

I've had it for less than a year, but I bought it from a friend who had it for a couple months. Can I still possibly try to RMA it? Anyone have the MS Hardware RMA number?

MS is usually very forgiving with their hardware peripherals, I wouldn't be surprised if they sent you one for free.

It's awfully strange for a keyboard to just break. Maybe you need to clean it?

I once had the same problem with a 7 year old Dell keyboard. Taking it apart and cleaning it solved the problem.

Got their number? 🙂

I know Logitech sent me a brand new MX700 when the charger stopped working.

None of the buttons work. The p and o thing have happened previous this week too. IT had been an on and off thing.

Funny you mention Logitech because they're the only other company I know who is as good at customer service as MS.

Bummer. Sounds busted.

Yeah, MS is great. Just ring them up and they'll send you a new one.

Yup, MS is very good with that.

I've spilled liquid on my keyboard in the past, not recently though.

I'd make my *original* MS natural keyboard a martyr by using it to blugeon to death the jackass at MS that decided to axe the original MS natural. I don't want a natural keyboard with that retarded diamond layout to the arrow keys, and I don't want no stinking multimedia keys and a funking F-Lock bastardizing my function keys.

DAMN YOU! DAMN YOU MICROSOFT! Bring back the original MS Natural!!!!!!!!!!!!
