My mouse stopped working, need help please

I tried overclocking, set my PC to run at 2.6 and it froze up. I restarted my comp, and set everything to fail-safe defaults, and now my mouse doesnt work. Everything else works tho. Video is fine, windows starts up normally, sound is fine, network is fine, everything is fine. I can type, but my mouse doesnt work. It doesnt work in the USB drive, not even in the mouse port. I have tried multiple mouse and sitll same result. Did i break something?

This is the windows error msg when I boot up:

"USB Device not recognized - one of the USB devices attached to this computer has mulfunctioned, and windows does not recognize it. fo assistance solving this problem, click this message"

In the bios, there's an option "Reset ESCD" or very close to that. It forces the bios to do a re-inventory of everything attached to the mobo. It will report this "new" list to windows. That should fix it.

In the future, feed your mouse; you can't expect them to work and never stop if you don't feed them!!!
