Bought him for 4$ in 1999. Always served me well, and even though all the abuse... occasionally falling off my desk into the trash, etc.. has always lovingly come through.

Something wrong with the left side.. probably mouse-cancer or something.

What will I do without him? 🙁

So.. can anybody recommend a replacement? :Q

..is that a long time for a mouse(rodent type)?? I thought they lived about 3 years or so?? how bout a G.pig??

I have no idea.. It's just a simple Logitech 3 button balled mouse, no scroll wheel.. I'd never use it.

Optical would be cool I guess...

The left button is getting flakey.. annoying as hell.

I'll click on something, and then be waiting.. and realize it didn't register.. Now I've gotten into the habbit of clicking multiple times just because.. lol

Was it the Logitech Mouseman? That particular mouse was triangle shaped (wider at the top) and fit my hand like a glove. I've still got 2 of them packed away in a box somewhere simply because I loved them so.

Heh, nope... just a regular shaped mouse.. lol.. the normal matte finish is worn all smooth where my hand rests and on the left button...

I recently got a logitech G7 for $18 after rebate. Still waiting for the rebate, status on it is still "processing". courtesy of hot deals
 
Wow I go through mice & keyboards MUCH faster than that.

I get 1-2 years if that out of mice, & not much longer for keyboards.

Currently using a G15 + G5.

i've been using the basic logitech optical for about 4 years. so far so good. i hit it and throw it when my computer acts up. 😀 it's an easy (and cheap) scapegoat to vent on.
