My mouse double clicks.... almost all the time!

I have a logitech mouseman wheel, the blue ones and about 70% of the time in the last hour or more each time I single click it double clicks. Could cleaning it work? also are they hard to open, I have tried to open a few of those older type of mouseman mice and they have been a bitch to open.

if this will be a double post then I blame the mouse

did you already try setting double click speed in control panel?

If you are using Win XP go to Control Panel click on Folder Options then set the it how you like and that's it

I had the same problem with my bluely colored mouseman. It didn't act like that until very late in its life and I never found out why it did that. I'm thinking, perhaps it could be some strange issue with that model mouse?
