My motherboard is bent in one corner about 1-2mm and some sides are warped around 1mm, will this still be safe to install?

It might be but I wouldn't try it. Best to call who ever you bought it from, some resellers only give you 7 days to report shipping damages.

The little bend didn't look too bad so I built the computer anyways, and it works perfect!

If I was you i'd do a stress test / benchmark on the system .....there may not be any obvious damage on the mobo but bending a pcb can be very bad for the attached components, especially the solder joints connecting them to the pcb as they can crack and leave you a "dry joint" that you'll not spot til you slap some serious heat onto the mobo :)

On the other hand you may never have a problem ,but personally I'd have RMA'd it just to be on the safe side.

I don't see how this could have happened during shipping, although I wouldn't say it would be impossible either. Could it be that it was a mobo that bent due to a heavy HSF? Certified refurb kind of thing?

How the hell could that have happened without the mobo coming out of the box. That's insanity.

The motherboard came separately from anything else, it was bent a little bit in one corner and the same corner had a big dent in the box. It was not enough to affect the installation at all, it fit over the screw holes evenly.

The parts that are bent a bit are not close to the cpu/gpu but I will run a stress test as recommended.

Keep in mind you are gonna kill it's resale value if you ever decide to sell the board.

No one is going to buy a bent board unless it is a really good deal. Unless you paid for a bent board, get it replaced.
